Located just 1 hour from Wellington up the coast in the Lower North Island. Tatum offers the perfect escape into nature. Ideal for conferences, corporate retreats and gala dinners. With brand newly built accommodation units with a boutique, resort like feel. Fresh and modern. We can sleep up to 80 plus on site and host events up to 200 plus but more depending on use. We also have a glamping area of 11 glamping tents which can be increased.
The venue is comprised of multiple newly built and newly landscaped indoor and outdoor event spaces. Surround by a large park like setting. Our biggest event space the pavilion with its beautifully designed pitched ceilings and large windows - seats 200 pax comfortably. The pavilion’s high level of design is in keeping with the fully renovated historical Homestead. With it’s large wrap around veranda opening onto to a large exterior event space- illuminated by antique festoon lighting and illuminated trees. We incorporate seamless inside-outside progressive events through the whole property–think exclusive use–like having your own resort.
With a multitude of choices on furniture and set ups we also offer our own inhouse event stylist with styling options and décor available for your event. From rustic to a polished black tie look. Full AV, 3 bars including an outdoor bar and a full commercial kitchen on site. Our fully renovated homestead offers luxury accommodation in an apartment set up and versatile event spaces below. We have a campfire area with an outdoor dance area and bar. Ideal for star gazing and dancing the night away under the stars.
We also offer an exciting vintage train package from Wellington with our partnership with Steam incorporated. Jump a board the Tatum express and disembark at Tatum for a lunch or a special gala dinner. For a truly unique experience!
